A standalone fictional novel for young adults revolving around fourteen-year-old Sara, just hitting puberty with all the angst of it. There is no foul language or use of God's name. But this gentle, contemplative book is of its time (the '70s) and is essentially character-driven. It only grazed the surface of the things I found most interesting about the book, which I found frustrating.
